If I found one of these before I found my EK I would have bought it, my Mum had a XM wagon when I was a kid, it got stolen twice, didn't get it back the second time  .
I read this one was from the Geelong area, very cool, Trev 8) .

hey paroharo,

thanks for the post, yes i have this car in my stash at home its in the style/inspiration folder...

i think what grabbed me the most, (after the look of the car) was the fact that its running a mod engine yet still look oldskool...

hey trev, i'm the same... it was what ever came up first holden or &*#@, i wasnt fussed...

thanks again
matty martin

I admit to having a soft spot for the early falcon wagons - looked at 2 XP wagons before buying the FB

Come to think of it, those are XP fairmont taillight lenses on mine...

That's just answered the question I forgot to ask you at the Nats,Mathew.

Was wondering what those tailight lenses were from??
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

here's the difference between falcons and FB/EK's i padock bashed an XP falcon it lasted a couple of hours and we had to walk home, we padock bashed an EK in the same bush for 3 days driving it home every day  until the last day when we bogged it to the sills and couldn't get it out :( so we sat it with a rock on the accelerator till it blew up and even then we had to drain the oil and water
if anybody's interested i was told about an XP wagon for sale the other day suposed to be pretty tidy $1200
