Is the Chrome Exchange still going at Arncliffe ?
I got lots of stuff done there years ago, and it lasted really well considering it never got looked after.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Hi Matty,

Hope you've got plenty of $$$ in that wallet of yours...here's some info on places I know and have used...

Blu Chrome at Milperra...have had chrome and zinc plating done there and was happy with the results...they wont do cast stuff like blinker surrounds, bonnet bar and tailights...

All Metal Bumpers at Ingleburn...have had chrome done there...they will do cast...I think it is sent to the chrome place at Melbourne...can't remember the name...

Astor Metal Finishes at Villawood...have had polishing work done there...they also do chroming and will do albeit reluctantly cast stuff...

Electroplating Technology at Qeanbeyan...have read they do a lot of stuff for hot rodders...have never used them...only because of their location...

all the contact details can be found at
http://www.fbekholden.com/forum/viewtop ... =1771#1771

price wise you are looking at approx $150 per section for a bumper bar...

regards
Stewart

thanks stewart,

All Metal Bumpers at Ingleburn...have had chrome done there...they will do cast...I think it is sent to the chrome place at Melbourne...can't remember the name...

this is the place i was going to go with... i also think you info is correct re, cast stuff being sent to melb...

i spoke to peter there yesterday & he was very helpful & nice on the phone, he quoted me 150 per section....

alan from alan mccoy, (the guy that did my stainless mouldings) put me on to them he also said that they are the only ones he would reccommend besides the Electroplating Technology at Qeanbeyan...

thanks
