Post by ekdave1962 »

hi guys im trying convert a vr wiper motor to suit the EK .. have found info on old holden about VN motors .. it seem that EK was active ground .. hmm didnt pay any attention when i striped the car down, but the instuction talk about relays to change polarity to suit the commo wiper motor ,..

these unit fit nicely on to the EK shaft , i have fitter mine inside the cab with a simple home made bracket ..
but cant 4 the life of me work out the return wiring im sure someone must have do this before, so im asking it some one can send me a wiring diagram for commos .. or if they have wired one so instructions and pic ..

Thanks D

Good luck with that. Thats exactly what I did in the begining, got all the wiper motor fitted up and looking real good until I tried to get a switch to suit it. Even the auto electrician told me good luck getting it to work. So then I went to a HG, HT motor. Once again all fitted up ok and finally got it working with a two speed switch out of an EH. Only then to find that none of it would fit with the A/C unit under the dash. Thats when I went to the flex drive wiper unit. Works good now
