Goodbye tasmans......Hello Whitewalls.....

Post by retro »

As the business end of rosies ownership comes close to an end, i decided to start some quick preps for the big day.

Between paint coats on the house i found time to give rosie the big 1960's look, with special thanks to troy (61fbspecial), who provided the disc brake rims i needed with the bonus of them being already powdercoated.

So here she is....

Thanks guys and bex, i sorta fell in love with it again when i put them on, im thinking of a way i can keep it longer without selling other toys, id even toyed with the idea of changing jobs so i can sell my daily driver (fairy four cyl) and use it to work.

Hey matty, they are the atlas ones that antique tyres at ingleburn and mebourne sell, I actually got mine from melbourne because the guy who runs ingleburn didnt answer his phone. :x

John, talking about a million bucks, spoke to andrew at the meeting, he looked like he won the lottery when he told me that someone called him up to sell him some hollywood caps, Thanks mate.

Thanks rosco and craig, put the pressure on, ive sold better toys before (ss torana), so this attachment i feel will always be remembered each time i look at my new kitchen..... My fb on the other hand...NOT FOR SALE.

Mick, been great buddy, hows the sunshine state? Your welcome anytime to come down under to the better land, in a few months ill be able to offer you a place to crash, once these renos are done. Yeah the wedding is in six or seven weeks, the cars are almost done, maybe a quick detail the days before, a couple of hours at the drags tommorrow, one hell of a bucks nite, and a couple of swap meets if im lucky, and we all should be ready.
