Convertable would be worth more with its lid on in my eyes. Can't say I like it.

Much prefer the one with the roof.

Couldn't afford either of them.

Couldn't even afford the ebay selling fees!!

My thoughts,

Terry.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

WHY  Now I know why no one else ever did a convertible out of an HK HT HG MONARO!!! IT'S BLOODY UGLY
I also agree with Trev..a bit of soap & water would'nt go astray.

In the 1980's I can remember that we went down the and met all the family down at Surfers Paradise. We were staying at some high rise with a car rental joint next door. They had a heap of VF VG Valiant convertibles and some other models maybe a couple 65 Pontiac 4 door pillarless cut down. My family all had Valiants and the car rental mob spend the whole time trying to buy my uncles VG coupe. I think they look ok as convertible but the roof on a coupe is one of its best features.
Mez : I used to see a VG coupe parked at your work. Was it yours? When I was a kid I used to see that car all the time around Indooroopilly. That red and cream one. Would love that car 8) 8)

Yeh, valiants look coool!..... to be able to cut a old classic into a convertible you need to have a straight car.... like FB/EK, chevys oooo man i want one of them! even a two door would be nice 57 especially!

We dont see many converts here in newy, but when i do man i get excited. Some cars just dont look right and i dont think some people do their homework b4 starting to cut, and to wreck a good car that should be left alone.

Its good to see that i wasnt the only one that didnt like the look of it. There is no way id cut a monaro, id be happy with just a two door Holden, they are worth gold atm.
