It's a fun car but over the last year it's soaked up too much money so i'm not going to spend anymore on it and just focus on my EKs :)

Let me know how much you hate my TV [/img]

Heres a thought , whack the running gear out of the Commy into the EK - that should put a smile on your dial.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

I was thinking about it but i think it would be easier to get the pink EK through rego with a red motor but once it has rego i plan for it to have a very fun straight six

The Calais only has the big screen in it for car show cos you never know when you may need the back seat!

 No i'm 100% Australian i just wanted a nicer daily driver but i went a little crazy with the bolt-on and ended up with a Fully Hectik Calais LOL which i don't drive every day so i have a VP Commodore as my daily. Once the pink EK is running i'm going to sell this to fund my other EK project. :D

Just a little update on the Daily driver.

Sadly i got defected two weeks ago for "Oversized Wheels" and "No tyre Placard" which is a bit of a bummer because there is no way it will pass a rego inspection. It's to Loud to low and Supercharged so i thought it was time to sell the Calais and concentrate on real cars and not crappy commodores. But then i was driving to my friends house last week i lost 3rd and 4th gears. so now i have a mostly unsellable hunk of junk :(

Anyway as it still has 1st and 2nd gear i thought i would make the most of my last day of rego. On private property of course

So it looks like i now have a Supercharged V8 that is just crying out to be stuffed into one of my EKs :D

Engine looks a bit smokey too...

Much better use for the drivetrain, real good sleeper potential. No chance of defects then.....

The more i think about it the more i think the engine swap is the right move :)

Don't worry wheels like that will never go on any EK/FB i own. Just stockies for that sleeper look would be perfect with the Supercharged V8
