Its usually used for better main jet fuel adjustment when fitting multiple stromberg carbies but can also be used on a single carb as well.No one seems to sell them anymore as I've been trying to find a stockist of them now for a while.

i've got a 3 of them here but that one looks like an older version
the last one i bought was from marlows about 5 years ago

Hi Guys.

That's only part of the kit. The other part looks like a normal main jet, but it has a tapered opening for the needle to seat into.

These were popular with taxi owners in the sixties. The adjustment method was simple, you turn in inwards in increments until the exhaust valves burn out & then back it off by 1/4 of a turn.
