Hi Karsten,

Not to worry. I took the liberty of adding a few '[' brackets to your post to get some of the images to appear.

To dlete stuff in your post click on 'edit' towards the top right of the screen.

thanks ekdave yeah its a good car so i exspect it to turn out tidy

mephious, my plan is a period hotrod you know twin carbs headers on the gray its pretty original car bar the head lining seats and door trim and dragways 8) ,
the lining is velvet devilrod and it was there when i got her but i love it and am going to great lenghts to keep it ,it was a bit sun bleached at back pillars so i cut that bit off and will re do it to mach the parcel shelf,

and the box is a hyrdo which i like as it has carisma an has always been reliable the diff is standard eccept i put a 3.08 ratio in it and yeah it mite sound tall but the torque of the gray turns it no prob even with a trailer

if you look at the seat its got little head rests made into it, it had had a respray and new interior at some stage in the early 90s i got it in canberra of cassey car sales for 2 grand in i think 92 or 93 and it was like new but the moter had problems and i talked the price down and fix the moter and then replaced it down the track
from what i can gather it was a 1 owner from dubbo , its been at the paint shop for two years and i got sick of waiting and picked it up 6 weeks ago and started myself ive done a few cars celicas, hd ,and numerous big trucks so im not to worried to do it it was more time or the lack of that i sent it to a paint shop turns out i would have been quicker myself to start with now im two years down the track and just starting but im not going to spare a cent new interior in similar style ,the out side will go from white to a bright blue and the drive train comes out and get a pull down and new seals gaskets ect but i will get the box rebuilt then it should be sweet for another 50 will try up load some more pics this week dont think i will make the 08 nationals but by easter i hope to be pretty close
when they start building them like that again i will buy a new car of them
