Parker lights, Uneven Brightness

Can any one shed some light (Sorry about the pun.)

on my dilema.
Should the Drivers (RHS) front parking light be brighter than the left?
The bulb is a dual filiment type 20/5w,
RHS park light is 20w and LHS park light is 5w
Both indicators are 5w.
Swapping the wires on the LHS acheives same result.
Thanks in advance.

Check all your connections are free of corrosion is my only guess .
The only other thing that may effect the power to flowing to it is the wire size..

Harko,
thanks for your prompt response. Is all new wiring, Did it myself following (I thought.) the existing wiring plan and wiring diameter as closly as possiable.
The problem doesnt seem to be voltage loss, just the wrong filiment illuminated
This is only defect i have found (So far.)

Sounds like you have just mixed up the wires.
I think the indicators should be the brightest.

Yep, the indicator has to be the brightest one and should light up the larger/longer of the two filaments in the bulb.
Going on the bulb wattage figures you've given the park lights should be the 5 watt and indicators should be 20 watt.

I would check your earths or ground connections, the other possibilty would be that the centre connector on the globe socket could be broken and the tangs that locate it are in fact sheared off.

Thanks to everyone for their ideas. Have it sorted, dodgy bulb holder and two wires ass about were the culprits.
