Keys and identification.

Post by EK283 »

Ok, so many of you may know this but I didn't !!!!

If you need to get a new key made up for your original locks the number of the key for your vehicle is stamped on the boot lock shaft that goes into the latch.

Obviously if any locks or ignition have been changed previously they probably wont match.

when we were younger and we all had old shitbox holdens if we bought a car that had matching door and ignition keys we would swap the door locks with a mate so the keys didn't match that way if someone had a key to open the door that same key wouldn't start the ignition, yes it only slowed thieves down minutely but any advantage was better than none
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping
