Jacko's Archive Pics - My Back Yard 1987

Post by Aussie Bob »

At one stage I had 23 FB's & Ek's....lol Here are some pics from the Emu Plains days!

Image

Image

A bunch of FB's!

Image

My Very first FB or EK was this car above. I purchased it in 1985 out of the Telegraph for $900. It had a weather strip on the front windshield with the words "Pink Bitch" written across it in big letters ... it took Thirty three minutes to remove it :)

Image

This Green EK had a 161 with a Tri-matic, don't recall ever seeing it again.

Image

Another red motor EK with Auto I purchased from Seven Hills & sold it to one of the Pickford clan.

Image

I purchased the above FB from Katoomba in 1987, it was sitting on the highway for years in long grass beside a servo, just before you get to the town on the left going up the hill.

Image

This was a great FB I purchased from Mulgoa & sold to a Peter W. from Newcastle in 1987.

Image

I sold this car to Scruffy from the NSW car club may he rest in peace.

Image

Can't remember much about this one, only that it is an early rare colour Desert Glo / Morning Grey Flash.

in first pics the salmony coloured EK wagon and FB wagon i remember buying them, the EK was rusty but running and regoed and the FB was clean but no motor box rego and some other bits, blew the clutch up in the EK wagon the day before a NSW club christmas party at prospect resevoir, so unlike me  decided to take the FB, so over night everything the FB needed was taken off the EK including the rego  and put on the FB and there i was at the christmas party :D
got pulled over in the FB and the cops checked the numbers and shock horror the sub frame number didn't match so i just said come on the thing is x amount of years old and the subframe unbolts so it's probably been in a smash and they've replaced it, oh yeah yor probably right was the reply
god i luv it when you can baffle 'em with bullshit  :D :D

Great Looking photos Ray.

They would be fantastic blown up and framed with old fence pallings a couple of brass screws here and there, you've got yourself a good little money spinner.

You right, they were in the weather!

I moved to a place which had a four car garage & hired a factory unit.
