Fb battery

Post by Brett027 »

Happy xmas all. Can someone give me a current Century or similar battery number/model suitable for fb please? Need one soon and having nothing to use as reference to replace. Searched forum and tried battery companies but no luck.
Many thanks.

Something to think about. With the posts inboard of centre the positive clamp is pretty close to the steel threaded rod, wingnut and retainer bar. I would look for a battery with the posts on the centreline to avoid potential for a short to earth.

I run a Century NS70X MF in both Graces ute and the FB. It’s a little larger than what Century recommends, but still fits neatly in the battery tray. I figure a few spare CCA can’t be a bad thing. Clearance to the hold-down bar and terminals is OK.

Thanks for the replies. I know what I'm looking for now. 30 percent off sales makes today a good day to buy.
