My old EK runabout.......

Post by Devilrod »

Thought I might add to the pics on here with some shots of my old purple daily driver.....I have to rebuild and salvage some other pics off the old computer so please excuse the night shots.

Only mods were major lowering. Other than that a nice stock grey motor.
Someone had done a half arsed retrim....

Oh and I forgot to mention it had a flame thrower kit! Not good for the bores but fun

This car is somewhere in Sydney and running a 265 hemi and auto/9" but stil looked like this. Was good for mid 13's first outing without any sorting!

Was great for at parties, I don't know how many people ended up with burnt patches on their lawn

I wouldn't recommend them if you have spent some dollars on your motor. Flushing so much raw fuel through an engine can't be good for it.

I knew it was rusty, but it was fixable. It had a good 9" and chassis kit, frontend etc.. What happened to all that?

Yup, that is the same trim I just compared the photo's.

We wait with bated breath to hear the sorry tale of this cars demise.

Yes ,
The car is dead!
I have the rear right dog leg from this vehicle .It was at the wreckers in Rivo like ratbox said and was still purple in colour. From what I could see the cancer was pretty bad in the sills maybe not as good as everyone thought.
