Out of the covers
Out of the covers
By the way if anyone knows how to get those plugs out of the water pump to fit my heater hoses, I'd like to know.

Re: Out of the covers
It'll Have roadworthy today and registered tomorrow. Driving on the weekend. OH bummer just realized I have to work Saturday. Ah well I'll take it for a break down run after work.
I'm chasing a decent set of indicator lenses until my Kustom ones come out of the moulds.
Might come down the bay for a cruise Mr Jagger, I'll give you a bell.

Theo,
"By the way if anyone knows how to get those plugs out of the water pump to fit my heater hoses, I'd like to know."
Get a MAP-gas torch, or better, an oxy, and heat the plug up to a dull red heat, then let cool. Best done with the coolant drained out of the engine first. Probably a good idea to remove water pump from vehicle first if the plug is stubborn.
But wait a minute - you're in Queensland. I thought you needed neither choke nor heater there.

Rob. I use the heater to keep the motor from overheating. Gave her a run today and the plugs have come off when she was hot. Also aided by an old set of stilsions and a gal pipe
Mould on the boot is a set of FC guard strips cut down to fit. I used the cut off to make the joiner clip. Weather was crap mid morning so did some work on the motor. Mums day tomorrow might be heading down the coast. Will try to catch up at a later date to share some kustom tips.
