I'd buy Taylors before Rares. This guy has been around for years. He used to punch out panels for Holden under license. I think the "shop" side of things is run by a younger friend and the old bloke still goes at it out the back and stays away from the "ebay/computer stuff".
I bought panels off them for my FB and they were by far better quality and thickness than Rares panels.

I would highly recommend their replacement sheet metal panels. A couple of years ago I purchased panels to repair my subframe. They were / are excellent quality and fitted without any massaging. My only concern at the time was their response to emails and posting of the panels took some time. I purchased through their then ebay site and suspect these issues were more about using the technology than anything. As Craig has mentioned it looks like this side of their business has improved. Ray is such a lovely bloke and willing to assist where possible.

We need to support these guys ( and for that matter Rares and co as well) as they provide a great service to us which needs to continue into the future.

Cheers

Looks like I will be using home then. Because honestly I'm not real keen on the fitment or rarespare rust panels I have fitted many over the years and just always tell myself that it's better than making one from scratch, and each time also tell myself they must of improved buy now. Wish I found him before I bought my floor pans for my sedan

Peter Jackson. Old era panels is making ute taikgate skins that are bowed as per factory. I havent seen any other repo skins like this. The others dont have the bow in them and dont fit the original frame properly.

Hey toey I just bought front floor pans from Ray Taylor he was great to deal with and the panels arrived fairly quickly only trouble is that he does not make the rear floor pans so I purchased a couple of Rares ones and am sorry I did the front panels from Taylor's are great the Rares back panels don't seem to be pressed properly and a couple of the side edges have been welded.
Probably be ok for bits but not the full panel.
Just my opinion

I've used a heap of Rays stuff and it always fits pretty well. He is local to me too so that makes things easy.

I saw PJ's stuff at Toowoomba swap. Very impressive looking panels and a real friendly guy who loved to chat but I didn't get a price list or anything to see what sort of range he has.
