Doors / Window

Ok it's time to put my doors back together has anyone replaced the rubber at the bottom of the windows and if so what did you use or am I being a bit over the top/keep in mind that it won't be driven in the rain unless I am cautgh out--- you may notice that I have the right gear for the job IE BEER

Personally I'd replace it. Easy and cheap to do.

I got mine from Clark rubber. Can't remember the actual size 5 or 8mm?
Did the trick though.

I am in the clean /paint /protect stage -- but where do these 2 parts go I am sure they have to do with the windows but can't remember where
I am thinking they have to do with the back windows

And while I am on the subject is there a sequence to putting the glass back in the doors,

I boughtbfrom spectrum channel setting rubber. You soak it in kero before you set the glass in. Somehow it holds into the channel better than normal rubber.

That's what I used on my '57 , you put it all together looseish , then soak it with Kero and the setting rubber swells up and stays that way.

The are the window guides the screw on the inside front of your rear doors, the bailey rubber runs down them.
