KD CHROME Maddington.

Post by Marko »

Hi Guys,
a bit of a long shot but are any of the Perth based members able to tell me if KD Chrome is still open. I have been trying to call them since Christmas and no answer.

Cheers Mark

Kerry closes down at Christmas and comes back to work when it cools down , he is usually closed at least until March. I work pretty close to his shop , I will go down and see if he is open for you.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Theres a bloke over here who repairs them , he remakes the outside section for $400 , providing your internal bracing is in good nick. I only found out about him last week. He is the same bloke who makes Monaro and EH etc door skins for Rare Spares so he knows what he is doing.

I had a mate make 2 out of 3 and then we silver soldered (56%) to get the shape right. 1 of mine is a custom fit to my van the other is standard shape and size. As you can imagine the cost is getting up there but what do you do.
