Heater Help

Post by kiwipom »

Hi all, I have recently got a Holden FB and I am still learning a lot about her.

Have a question, hope someone can help

the heater stays on all the time, there is no slider knob at all where it should be, so no cable behind it or no valve.

where can I find information on what exactly should be there and indeed how to make it all work :-)

thanks
Steve

thanks very much, went and had a quick read. I think the FB I have is early 1960, and wasn't fitted with a heater, hence why there is only 1 slider and nothing behind,. I have only had the car a week, so still learning. I just cant work out why the car is VERY hot inside, and feels as if a heater is on...I guess its just the warmth coming through from the engine. Wonder if I can get hold of one of these heaters....will keep searching
thanks,

oh and how do I change my thumbnail and put my car there ? lol...I have tried but cant work it out.. ( you can tell I am a newbie here eh )

cheers

You need to tun on the 4and80 air conditioning. 4 windows down, and 80 miles an hour  . Goes with the Armstrong power steering.
