Rear engine mounts (Hydra-Matic)

Post by Dean&Jana »

I'm having trouble finding a supplier for rear engine mounts for a Hydra-Matic grey motor original set-up. Rare Spares gave me the flick. Any ideas?

Thanks Trev, but I'm chasing the rubber/steel mounts themselves, not the brackets. I'm of the understanding that the Auto and Manual rear engine mounts are different. Although, to me, the rear mounts pictured on ebay and rare spares for manuals look very similar to the hydro ones I have removed.

Just looked up the Master Parts Catalogue and it does have Hydros with different rear mounts "insulator assembly' EK (H/T) 7417858, FE, FC, FB, EK (S/T) 4709885. So answered my own question (Tim was right as normal). Looks like it might be swap meets to find them.

thanks Les, they do look like hydro ones. I have some time up my sleeve as I'm chasing a drive plate/damper so it could be a while.

They may well fit but the are a different part number, if you are talking from experience then you my be correct I was using the GMH history which is not always correct.
If the EJ one fits then I will change our computer to reflect this.

Dean if you want to try one let me know your name and address and I will send you one free of charge if you fit it and let me know if it fits or not
