I have a 1961/1962 Holden ek special, I need to do the brakes, they are locked on, the car is all original drums all round and no booster, will I affect the originality of the car if I upgrade to disks or even add a booster to the drums? I don't care if I affect the price because I will never sell it

Re: 61/62 ek special
The cars work ok with the drum brakes. it will only cost you maybe $500 in parts to completely renew the whole brake system.
By the time you have a disc brake front end in you wont get any change out of two grand by the time you have the engineers report.

just a long shot , but it is an unusual nickname. I used to work with a Lunchbox on the Oil rigs in Bass Strait in the 80's Mr Lombardi.
