Whiteman Park show info.

Post by Blacky »

Got hold of Pete from the FE/FC Club last night , the Whiteman Park show is on Sunday 27th April , there are a few of us who are planning an overnighter there on the Saturday night as there are quite a few clubs who do the same.

SATURDAY

We need to be in by 6:30 pm as the gates are locked after this time. I propose we meet in Malaga Markets carpark at 6pm and then cruise in together ? We will need to bring stuff for a BBQ dinner and breakfast plus a swag or tent etc.
If everyone brings their own gear we shoudl be fine, I will bring salt&pepper, sauce , butter, bread etc so just bring the rest , that way we dont need to worry about running out or having too much food. Bring whatever your poison is , I will also organise a kettle, tea, coffee etc. There is power available and coin operated barbys. I will make sure we have a club marquee by then so we will have a bit of shade on the day, BYO chairs etc.

SUNDAY

If you want to just come in on the Sunday you will need to be here by 8:30 , the entry is off Dulwich St for entrants and you will need to fill out a form before the day, I am going to catch up with Pete this weekend and I will scan and post up a copy on Monday so you can print it off, fill it out and send it. If you cant PM me and I will do it for you.

If your car isnt going but you want to come along to the biggest car show in Perth, the entry is off Lord St and it is only a gold coin donation to get in 8)
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Here is the form you need to fill out and bring with you on the day , we are going in with the FE/FC boys so you need to say you are with the FE/FC club so we get parked together.

Well it probably comes as no surprise that we are not camping tonight seeing as its decided to rain for the first time in 4 months :?

We are meeting tomorrow morning at the Maccas on Altone Road between Benara road and the Reid Highway in Beechboro. We need to be there by 8 o'clock , we will leave shortly after 8 to be parked up by 9. I have bought snags and bread and Trevor has a small barby on board so we can cook a bit of a feed for lunch as per Pinjarra , there will be stuff for sale on the day as well no doubt ..... lets hope the weather is a bit better tomorrow - you never complain about rain , just the timing

Sorry I missed it, haven't been on the forum much lately and only found out about it from the email yesterday. Haven't been to the Whiteman Park show for many years, the old boy used to take us up every year, remember it being a bloody huge show
