Fitting Rare Spares EK Slashes

Post by paperboy »

Hi,
I received new rare spares front guard slashes, but noticed they have different clips, they are round and my top holes in my guards are square. Has anyone fitted the rare spares slashes? Do I have to drill my holes bigger to fit the clips? Please help.

Thank You
Geoff

There should be a little clip that fits in the square hole that the pin on the slash fits into , I dont think they are reproduced yet so you might have to get some push on clips that fit directly onto the pin on the slash , fit the slash to the car then reach around behind the slash and put the clip on , take the slash to a panelbashing shop and ask them - they usually have boxes of clips and will either sell you some or at least you will know what you need. Most Auto One/ Repco type places will have them in those little blister packs as well.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.
