Hi anyone know if you can use ht v8 rotors ( 15 .9mm width v6 are 11 i think)
on hq stub axels with hq PBR cast iron calipers
reason being i already have the hq stubs and calipers but want to keep the old holden bolt pattern
and ht rotors would do that .
any one done this combo
Pretty sure HG and HQ stubs are the same so I cant imagine them being a problem.
You can buy blank HQ rotors and have them drilled to suit early stud pattern which is the way I would go - HQ brakes are miles better than HG
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

If you use HT discs the HQ calipers won't work.
Why not get some Torana discs and calipers, pretty sure they ( calipers) are the same as HQ and you keep the old stud pattern.

thanks Trev
so what stubs can i use will the discs go on the hq stubs or on the hr stubs and do you meen lh lx torana or lc lj
usually torana stubs will make it difficult to wheel align different camber angle on the stubs and i'm pretty sure if you get ones off a torana that had radial tuned suspension it's even worse
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping
