Hey guys, i am just catching up with what is happening on the weekend at the all holden day. If I am right in thinking that the swap meet us on Saturday , then I will go on the way home from work at about 9.00, for a few hours, then go with my wife for the day on Sunday, probably about 8.30. I would like to catch up with the regulars on this site such as bootlegger and Wayne, just to say g'day, so if any of you are there at that time, is there some area to meet.? And how will I know who you are? These are the big questions that need to be answered. I have just joined the Fb/ek club so I will look those guys up when I get there.

I believe our club has its own area so just look for all the FB and EK's

Ill be at the swap Saturday early. I want to nick off as soon as possible to get back to putting stuff on my van. Ive asked the organisers to park me close to the EK FB so I have somebody to talk to and still be near my car if its ready.

Who drives the black ek with the neat flash down the side.I saw it today at the swap meet but it left before I could get over to have look at it.

Hey Wayne, yes it had the red flash, although I have now seen so many cars over the last two days that I cant really be sure of anything. Great show, great weather, how much money was sitting there in that paddock??

poor buggers think they have something special go over and say it looks like a woolies car park it don't go over real good
I think if they're gunna limit numbers they could have an all holden day (for those of us that know better ) and an all commodore day for those that get a buzz from there shopping cars

Harsh Mick, harsh. Now once again My 25 year old son loves his 1981 sle commodore, which was made 7 years before he was born. My fb was made 5 years after i was born, which makes him more of a collector of old cars than I am. i have an fx which again is only 6 years older than me, even if i can get the very first fx ever made, i still cant beat him.
This having been said, there was a young bloke came into work today who said he had taken his commodore to the ahd show and i did quote your very funny line about the commodore area looking like a woolies carpark and his reaction was a head shake and a rolling of the eyes. If there has been no breech of copyright and it is ok with you, I would like to use it several times more.
