fuel tank repairs melb

Post by jarvo »

Hi all,

I have decided that I need to push this project along and may as well spend some of well earned coin on her...

Can anyone tell me a good place in Melbourne (preferably in the SE suburbs) that will restore my fuel tank?

Cheers

depending on what needs to be done.......... if it only needs cleaning and its rusty with pin hole leaks this stuff works a treat ......I have used it on motorcyle tanks in the past and intend to seal my fb and fj tanks using this product it leaves a plastic like finish to the inside of the tank ..its like a fuel tank in a fuel tank.... .you gotta be careful with the fuel pickup in the fb tanks if you leave the tank to set with it up the right way it could block your pickup outlet ....so caution in that area....... you also need to remove your fuel gauge sensor an blank off the hole .....and basicly follow the intructions .........my thoughts only .......anyone else used this product .....  .Fingers

Hey Fingers... Thanks mate.

I remember last time i dropped in, you showed me this and I was planning to do it myself but I am running out of time with so many other things to do on the car, I thought I could get a professional to do it.

I am pretty sure it's just a clean out and maybe a few pin holes. It looks to be in pretty good shape.
