Hi guys I know this has proberly been covered before but I think my search skills are maybe a bit crappy lately
What would be the easiest way to fit vn commodore disc's and callipers to a hr drum front end?
I looked at the rod shop Harv but most there stuff Is to hq or eairly commodore, plus it's twice the price!!!
Maybe I didn't look hard enough tho, but I'm happy with what I have, $150 plus postage
wanker????
I'd rather consider myself as an "owner operator"!!
You're right... went through my paperwork, and they weren't cheap . All I could find in 2003 though (dammit.... I really must finish this project... that's a decade of procrastinating!):
Part SA11 (modified stubs to suit Commodore bearings)
DB010 (Commodore to Holden disk adaptors)
These let me fit VN-VP V8 ventilated rotors and calipers to the HR front end, using Commodore bearings.
Cheers,

I'm using the VN rotors also and there disc/hub are one piece, using VN bearings hopefully will only be a few weeks and I'll have my front end together and I'll post pics

Bumper is right Coop my front end is set up the same way HR drum brake stubs machined down so the adapter plate sits parallel (I suppose you would say) y6ou will also have to take a little off the length of the countersunk allen screw so they don't bottom out.
I'm using VP V6 rotors and calipers, calipers are front mounted because I am running a rear mounted rack.
And as far as I'm aware and was told once Holden has used the same wheel bearing on all models since the start but I may be wrong I've been wrong many times before
