Now the Sedan is regoe'd and some FC projects for other people are winding up it is time to think about the EK Ute.
Has anybody done or know of anyone who has done a conversion this way or is it simplier to do a traditional build, the plan is to go V8
Any ideas ?
The floors are stuffed as well as k frame, I want to drop it on a full chassis such as a one tonner or similar. What to do with the Ute
Re: What to do with the Ute
i have one simular pretty good outer body rooted floors, and that is my thoughts to chassis it (but doubt it will ever happen
) toyota crown chassis apparently work (check out some of harko's work he's kinda done it, i know a fella with an FJ on a chev luv chassis (good fit)
the one i have i've thought more about a fabricated chassis just got to find an engineer that would wear it and i wouldn't even pester an engineer till i was ready to start cutting and welding so i doubt it will happen

Re: What to do with the Ute
Thanks for some starting points Mick,
I also toyed with the idea of a fabricated chassis, only if someone could or do make a pair of full rails.
