Hey guys, thanks for the comments. First here are some more photos of the silver Fb. Gotta say I was a bit worried about the shade of green until the clear coat went on. Still not really what I wanted but that's how it is. Just trying to choose a good red for the other one. Or a colour that goes with the new red and white upholstery. Any ideas would be appreciated

the silver and green one looks like a bit of a time warp
and time warps are great
as for the other one ,do what ever you want, just keep the suspension

Hey rusty, yes I have an fx and fj and a couple of FCs and an ej, and another handful of non holdens so it takes a bit of organising to regularly drive them all. I only hope I can retire to drive them more before I die. Trouble is, with this many cars I can't afford to retire yet. I live out near Campbelltown, nsw so you may have seen the silver one slugging down the road. It is a bit too low in the rear for my liking so I need to attend to that soon.
Best regards

hey Michael john. The ek is just undergoing a respray and new rubbers etc. i gotta say it is about the best old holden to drive that i have ever had. every thing just seems to feel right. even all the windows wind up and down smoothly. I am running a standard 186 with the old column change, original box and diff. I already had the interior redone when i stood back and realised that it deserved a new coat of paint. so i am just going through about a thousand colour choices right now as i have to tell the painter on monday. I really dont want to replace the new red and white upholstery now. it will have a white roof though. What i do need to do is replace the diff with a more suitable gearing. also i brought in a vintage air unit from the states, so i need to fit it and then it is back on the road.
so in short, looking for a diff if anyone knows of one for sale
best regards
Ian
