Looks like we will be making the drive from Dongara, would be great to catch up with some of the Forum crew.
Being new to WA, I haven't been to a car show yet, very much looking forward to it.

Where are you from Mark? It must be tough living in "Gods Country", into fishing, big Mulloway off the beach there near the caravan park but you will have to get real friendly with the locals to try and get some crayfish as they all go to Japan as live export, been to the processing plant yet?

Hey you have picked a great place to set up camp...I grew up down the road in Mingenew.
Your name fits in well as a lot of the nicknames in the town ending in "O"
Dicko, Benjo, Beano, Boofo, Beago..could go on but dont want to embarriss too many blokes

Anyhow you were asking if anyone was going to the Geraldton Show later in the year
I have emailed one of the organisers and waiting for the reply.
If it is still on the FE/FC mob will be taking at least 6 cars for the weekend. We went up 2 years ago and had a great time. There are a lot of cars from Perth as well as the North Midlands that get up there. Its well worth going up. We had a stop over in Dongara on the way up as most had never been there. went up the coast road Sat and returned on Mon via North Midlands road

Once I find out if its on... Sunday 30 Sept in the long weekend Sept/Oct Sat 29, Sun 30, Mon 1...
I will post here and see if any FB/EK boys want to join the cruze up for the weekend

Hi petrolhead, shouldn't be a problem with the fishing I work in the industry. Getting out a bit and onto the occasional dhu'y and cray, haven't seen many size mulloway though.

Hi Gary, do you know much about the panel beater in Mingenew, met his wife the other day and had a chat about old classics they have restored - I am looking for a painter to do some touch up work on my van.
The Geraldton car show sounds great, hopefully my van will be ready. It would be fantastic to cruise up with a club.
I previously mentioned looking into organising club cars meeting at the Dongara drive-in on the same weekend as the Geraldton car show, Just not sure if the drive-in still operates that late in the year, could be fun though.

Here's a couple of photos of the only two EK's at the show today, Gordon's sedan with my ute.
The weather wasn't great early on (, it pissed down ! ) but it held off long enough to enjoy the turn-out.

These two blue EK's looked like a pidgen pair...
