Lucky i ran out of time last weekend in Adelaide!!! A drive out of town may have been expensive, but worth it.

thanks for the heads up, i have relatives in adelaide out looking too, missed that yellow FC for 25k on ebay alil while back, but deep down want an FB/EK, have the cars to do it, just not the mechanical knowledge or time to accomplish the task easily, will keep going with one build (paying other people) and if one of the 5 people coming to see the flashline this weekend dont take it home maybe I'll pull the trim off and sell off the rest, be a shame to part out a 36000 mile car though.....see how it goes, maybe it'll work out, it has a picnic shelf too......(can hear the resto guys hearts skipping a beat) :shifty:

Mate if deep down you really want an FB/EK then wait, something will turn up.

No point spending good money on something you don't really want.

I purchased my V8 ute from Qld two years ago, Built by Gasoline Alley.
I am a plumber, so not that great with cars!! It was far better for me to purchase a completed project. I would buy another completed project any day over building it myself. But thats just me.
Good luck with the search, they are out there.

thanks for the offer but its a sedan im after.......also anyone out there reading i could possibly trade with or without cash on what you/I have, have an genuine 36000 mile EK flashline, all flash trim intact, only missing one special badge, original paint, needs a drivers side sill, lower front quarter panels, A pillars quite good but some cancer on wheel arch, boots/floor very solid, has had the rear end pushed in 4-5 inches, everything structural is fine, has replacement bootlid/ bumper, otherwise complete, im told matching interior not original according to the EK gods, have paperwork to show fitted at factory, and another complete EK, would make a great hottie, does have two floor sections replaced, one sill has been fibreglassed (great job) full custom welded in chassis kit, plus one off subframe braces and extra arms, subframe in great nic, one complete running FB special 11000 miles, purchased by my grandfather whilst working for GMH, with all staff invoices, picnic shelf, 350 chev crate motor, stage 5 cam flowed heads etc etc, two powerglides, supra 5 speed set up for holden six, very grumpy 179HP set up with triple SU's , solid cam drivable but very angry complete running motor and an extra 179HP bored to 186 in GREAT condition long motor, most of this stuff means very little to me, know very little about cars, just working 60 plus hours a week keeping me from my goal, PM me if interested, will eventually post other vehicles that I'm recieving from family.....

still up in the air on what to do with her, she's still down in adelaide, should be heading down in a few months and will take some pics, my father says it has some extra tags, believes it to be a test vehicle, the 11thou were put on her by my pa and two others whilst it was the property of GMH, then set up to store ever since, a few more there too, another nice one i can remember by deadbeat cousin turned into a hottie  dont get me wrong, I love modified cars but to do it to such a beautiful car is just plain stupid..... :esad:
