Which Etch??

Post by DOLLER »

Ok I have read through heaps of old treads and the more I read the more I was confused.
Thought it best I look stoopid now by asking rather than later when I find out I;ve stuffed up! :econfused:
Are there different types of Etch Primer for Acrylic and 2 Pack??

I believe so - but I'm no painter.

The best thing to do is find the nearest PROPER paint shop and buy all the stuff off them so you know its compatible - any good shop will have someone there whose brain you can pick for any dramas you have , and can sell you the right stuff to minimise the dramas inthe first place.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

I have recently used the 2pac etch and under coat because it covers everything and doesn't react like the acrylic stuff did.

I am no painter either this is just what I have done  .
