Firstly compliments of the season to you all. I am looking at compressors at the moment. I know that this has been discussed under Rosco's excellent paint tutorial but I am after some clarification. I have been looking and getting confused with the CFM. Often there are two ratings for CFM - one for Pump Displacement and one Free Air Delivery (FAD). Which one should I be focusing on particularly the suggestions previously given for a compressor. The two I am considering due to price is the McMillan C12 and the Peerless P12. Both shape up nearly identically. Any suggestions which one I should focus on from others experiences. Primarily I want it to be able to be used for touch ups but I don't want to discount painting whole panels or using air tools in the future. I am a bit worried they might not have the grunt to do the latter. Advice would be much appreciated. Cheers Rod
