Is there anyone thats changed stud patterns on old alloy wheels by way of welding and redrilling the holes.Iknow the effort,but i luv the old skool look and found a nice set of14'' tasmans,Thanks, Gaz.

probly easier and safer to change the stud patter on the car to suit the wheels
what stud pattern are they ? early valliant are very close to early holden so you may be able to modify the holes :?

Yeah they're early val,no problem with the welding,it's get;n the holes drilled accurate,maybe a w/shop that redose axles etc,thanks. Gaz,

Where are you there is a place in Newcastle PROMAC that does wheel repairs they may be able to help don't know their No off hand

Ajax wheels in Moorabbin. Don't have a number but they are easy enough to find and do good work.

Thanks for the advice guys,but i've rang all the bigwigs who do the mod's but they don't wanna know.When i get to the Nats ihave a few friends who could [maybe ]set me straight.

I can't imagine its that hard to drill them. Make a template out of cardboard and then steel. Make sure its accurate and it lines up with the centre hole so you know it centred. Clamp the template on.
Then drill it through.

Anyone with a half decent mill can drill a rim - I did a set of 15 x 10 Hotwires a few years back and its not that hard , the problem these days is public liability etc. :roll:
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

I know what your say'n,believe me i've tried sourcing one,if all else fails i'll use a pedestal drill, but inthis game i've learnt to be patient .

Hey Browno i'm in melbs western suburbs.
Wot 179,i was thinkn use'n an old brake drum,cut the guts out with the oxy ,that should be accurate enough,true.
