I have Two cars one with hr front and hr discs and one with hr front and torana discs. I tried to swap wheels from car to car and found the torana rims foul on the hr discs. Am i right in thinking the torana discs can be used with standard Holden 13 inch wheels?
Also if my front end is lowered 2 inches and I run standard wheels will 13 80 185 tyres foul?
Hope this isn't as confusing to understand as it was to write.

Pretty sure Torana discs set your wheels out about 1/2 and inch further than HR, so you will get better clearance.

Thanks Trev I have checked some of the old posts on here and I think I will keep searching for another set of standard width Hr disc brake wheels to be on the safe side. So i have a set of wide (6") hr disc wheels that I would like to swap for a standard width set if anyone is interested. I'm located in Byron Bay Northern NSW.

G'Day Pero
When I built my first EK I had a problem with Torana Chrome wheels rubbing, we got around it by using spacers that spaced the wheel from the wheel hub I think they were roughly 15mm thick - they were aluminium and were about 150 to 170mm in diametre and had 5 holes to go over the wheel studs.
I think you can still get them from a place like Canterbury Wheels in Melbourne, were illegal years ago.
You could make them yourself if you have a lathe, they should help you get around your disc brake problem.
