speedo cable

one of the last pieces of my jigsaw puzzle of a car is the speedo cable. i'm running a 186 with a trimatic box. can i use something like a ht trimatic speedo cable. will it fit onto the back of the ek speedo. any help would be appreciated :?: :?: :?: :?:
