what colour wheels?
hi everyone,
just scored a set of hk 14" rims for the ek and am wondering what colour i should paint them? i am going to run them with chrome dress rims, chrome nuts and bullet centres and portawall whitewalls.
here's a pic of the car for colour matching/ contrasting.
cheers, luke.

Re: what colour wheels?
I kind of like the orange look. This is from one of UTEK's threads.
Re: what colour wheels?
I might sound boring, and it's been done a few times but I reckon black
It will set off the whitewalls, trim and bullets well in my humble opinion
Or maybe white to tie in with the roof

Re: what colour wheels?
It wont matter what colour you paint them , they will look heaps better than those hotwires or ovlov rims
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Re: what colour wheels?
i was thinking black just for the simplicity of it, i thought white would detract from the whitewalls.
cheers, luke.
P.S: see you all on sunday up at the nats, and if any of oyu are at wintersun i may run into you cruising around in the ek (hopefully not literally )

Re: what colour wheels?
I wouldn't go white with the flappers, body colour yes. Black maybe but I think the body colour would be best.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

Re: what colour wheels?
Body colour would be my first choice, black next.
