Commodore rear handbrake cable attachment

Post by Brodie »

Im running a VN-VS diff and rear handbrake cable. I dont know how the cable sits in side the bracket on the back of the dust cover.

I know the very end of the cable with the loop goes over the pivot arm thingo that hangs out and that theres a retaining spring that goes from that pivot arm to the dust cover but i cant figure out how the cable sits in the bracket before all that.

Any help would be great as its stopping me from finishing the rest of my handbrake assembly :x

Pics would be awesome.

Cheers!

Brodie,

I have some workshop manual pictures of a VH/VK assembly... not sure if it is the same as VN-VS, but can email the pics if you like (PM me if you want them).

Cheers,
Harv
