Hey all,

Finally I have the FB back from the sandblasters without to many more surprises.
A couple of the floors may need replacing and the L/H sill panel.
Thats probably the worst of it.
Now the fun begins.

Mate,

At this stage I don't know what colour it will be. I'm leaning towards a solid colour weather it be an original colour on not.

At the moment I'm trying to find out the best place to get floor pans from. If you can suggest any where let me know.

i have installed rarespares floor pans into a EK Sedan, also sills, they fit very well i reckon, you just need to go slow with the cutting out of the old one to make sure it fits properly and its smooth sailing from there!

Hey guys,

I've ordered rare's floor pans, hopefully I have a NOS L/H sill so that should be OK. My 4 days of have been very productive, have the cowl panel ends done (proved to be a lot of work), the R/H front floor pan (very little rust) the L/H rear quater (rust), excess fire wall holes filled and the big XB fuel tank fitted.

I'm chasing a set of EH or HR front bucket seats if anyone knows where I can find a set.

Hey,

No pics yet, I was not sure where I was going to put the filler so I welded up the original hole to help me make up my mind, then it came to me, I'm going to use a Jag filler cap in the top R/H corner near the boot. Around where the Jags used to fit them.
Fitting the tank was one of the easiest of things I've done yet. A bit of cutting and grinding and saying to my self ( shit thats a big hole) but it does fit. I fitted the tank around the other way to how its originally fitted to the falcon (why, I like the drop tank look) and I wanted the filler on the R/H side. I'll post some photo's as soon as I can but I'm back to work tomorrow for 9 days straight so I'll do it as soon as I can.

Cheers
