Bonnet adjustment

Post by JimmyJazz »

Hi guys,

Just a quick question. How does one adjust the level of the bonnet on an FB - one side of my bonnet sits right and the other about an inch too low. A quick search of the forums didnt reveal much.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,
James

Move the hinge up where it bolts to fire wall section may have to move other side down a touch as well.

Depends which end you're talking about. if its the front corners, turn the little bolts with rubber stoppers on them. Also, if its a rear corner and the bonnet only goes down to the right level after you push it by hand then it could be bonnet springs on their way out or your hinges may simply need a bit of grease
