Hi guys,
Just wondering what your experiences are with getting paint in the colours these cars were painted in. I got some made up last time at the local SuperCheap and it wasnt too crash hot. Just doing a bit of a general touch up.
Cheers.

Re: Best place to get origonal colour paint
Go to decent paint shop, it will always be hard to match 50 year old paint but I wouldn't trust Super cheep. I got mine from a ppg dealer, gave them the paint number and the bloke said in his computer they are the same but with a 0 on the start now.

There is a place on princess hwy (dandenong rd) I think on the corner of heatherton rd cant remember the name although it is something like auto paint ......?? ,the guy in there is great he mixes it by eye if you have something to show him ie bits falling off
.I found him via the guys at east coast auto spares , he can do spray packs for about $30 a can or little pots and of course litres if you need alot .I was doing some touch ups and it worked out alright .
