great colour. always like that
'The best engine in the world is a vagina. It can be started with only one finger. It is self-lubricating. It takes any size piston. And it changes it's own oil every four weeks. It is a pity that the management system is so f*$king temperamental.'

Thanks for the pic!
Very nice old EH and yeah, great to see the mirrors GONE !!!
Always will have a soft spot for EH's as it was the only car my mum and dad bought new - only problem was bastards kept on prying off the 179 badge on the boot till Dad gave up!
That one sent the happy couple off in fine style!
HR rims ???

Re: Mates EH
It is very nice example , the owner is extemley fussy, As for the HR wheels you may be on the money as it does have a disc brake front end, but cant confirm it , I think all of us that are in our early fifties would be guilty of lifting a badge or two it was pretty popular in the early seventies to decorate your bedroom
Re: Mates EH
As I recall (being one of those blokes in the 50's) some of the very late model EH Prem's came with disc brake front ends. And it's not so much HR wheels as HR Prem tyres - those thin band whitewalls. Cheers
