Speedo Head

Just had an attempt to fit a new speedo cable to find the when its fitted to the speedo head it wont turn, hence the original broken speedo cable. Does anyone have any idea how to fix? Do I need to take it to get repaired or need to find a working speedo head? Any good advise appreciated.

If you can dismantle the head as much as possible and then get some machine oil into the moving parts, failing that try to get another and make sure it is oiled before fitting. If you can't get another, go to an instrument repairer and they should be able to sort it out for you.
