The master parts book shows the trim codes are for Mephisto Red in the FB and Mephisto Red and Madison Grey in the EK, but cant find any refference to the paint?? The FB paint I am asuming is in Nitro - being 256???

Hi Steve,
here are some photos of the ID plate, the dearlers plate in the engine bay, the inside of the service book with the original owners details and out of interest, the receipt for the "Lay Back Seat" which is still in the car. I bought the car in 2006 in Bellingen NSW where it had sat in a shed for 18 years.
Keep up the good work
cheers
Glen

866-827 (trim) going to need you to have a look at the combination no and the paint code as 866 is an HD Premier combination, its not 366 is it which is Buckskin, paint code 9691
256-960 (paint)
EK- 2104-4855-A 966-978 (trim) all 900 combinations are fleet vehicles
585-0276 (paint) Scaffold Biscuit is the paint colour

Are they still in the original colours if they are Stevie J will be beating down your door shortly
Leroy
edit you have the trim codes correct and if you need a paint recipe for Scaffold I have one
Will double check the FB tags when I am next out at the farm Leroy, it was dark and dank trying to get them off the plate on that one!
both are original paint - or what is left of it! they are too far gone for even Mr Jackson to be interested in them -other than for statistical purposes, so will be chopping them up and making one out of the two, the EK has windows fitted - the FB is windowless, so just trying to see which shell will be the lucky "survivor" of the two.
many thanks for the heads up!

The EK van certainly is unusual - Scaffold Biscuit colour was the fleet paint colour for Mills Scaffolds in SA. This would be a very rare colour van to find now.

Hi ekk-062
Can you please clarify if the Body number is 20847-A ....or 20847-S ? I am yet to find a 225 Adelaide build body in the 8,000's or above.
Hi All, i'm just new to this blog (as of yesterday) and i have just purchased my first EK 3 days ago. I was wondering if anyone could help me with the colours of the car and trim as i'm not sure what the original paint and trim look like.
The codes are: Trim 671-969, Paint 585-0233.
Cheers,
Bert

Thanks everyone for your help. My interior looks original but the old sedan must have had a respray as it is red now with the snowcrest white roof. Can anyone recommend somewhere in melbourne where i can get the front bucket seat re-upholstered as it's got quite a big tear in it.
Once again, cheers.
