Lots of work to fix it all up properly Damien. Worth while if you intend to hang on to it long term.

Getting there bit by bit.
Originally the car was full of the good stuff .... but they were all pulled off and sold
It did have radio, warmaride heater, wind spears and scratch plates
In the process of adding them back on - have sourced a heater, spears, scratch plates and even a taxi rail.
Got reproduction rubber mats (after a 10 month wait) and some nice new seatbelt from seatbelt solutions in WA.

Warmaride heater turned up today and courtesy of Australia post the switch assembly was broken....
I have ordered a replacement switch from rare spares
Hopefully soon something starts going right!

We've all gone down your road Damian
You might find there's more when Jay pulls it apart.
When the subframe comes off there's probably gonna be two holes in the firewall.
Probably the top back of the guards, the peaks above the headlights and the bottom rear of the guards.
Mostly the fuel tank has holes in it?
The rear quarter panels are probably rusted as well.
Check the Pelham chamber and see if it's gone too.
All fixable, as I've said we've all done it at some time.
You should have seen what "Old Timer" looked like when Stewart brought her home..

Bummer about the heater switch D. Lotta work to do on the screen surround. If the plenum chamber is rusted you may consider a cut and shut if you can find a suitable donor.

Goodonya Wayne

True it was bad but nothing had been hidden by bodgy repairs by a 'panel beater'...
Hang in there Damian...I could tell you about the time I glued in all the door rubbers the wrong way and had to rip them all out that took off fresh paint, or when I dropped and smashed a perfect original wiper escutcheon or when I got taken for a ride and completely ripped off by a metal polisher or when the windscreen wouldn't fit or when we began to prep for paint and discovered two huge whoofs in the roof from the sandblaster...
By the way I like those belts...

Sorry to see the old girl has some serious cancer mate - the prick that sold that to you should be hung drawn and qtr'd - I'd be leaving the old dog turd in the brown paper bag on fire on his doorstep every sunday for the next 10 years.
At least by going to bare metal you will find it all and preserve her for the next 50 years.
