Some more progress, one side of the engine bay all smoothed out. Will be going for a satin black finish.

Been scratching my head on how I was going to fix the fire wall where I stuffed it from welding on the inside.

In the end the solution was easy, I just made a new section and put it straight over the top. Plugged weld a few spots around the edges and glue the middle sections with silaflex.

Thats the trick,

You can tell your engineer that is double plated to increase the strength, should get some points there.

I'm assuming that black is epoxy primer you will rub back once the painting starts ?

Keep going mate your on the home stretch.

Yep, black is epoxy primer, I also applied copper weld through paint where I welded the plate on to the fire wall.
