Plate photos. Sorry, I didnt get chassis or engine id's. Will do next time I see the car. Could you please idntify trim and paint?

Hi Paul, your FB Sedan is a very early Nitro (Duco) finish. If original paint it would be extremely rare to find.

It's all original with negligible rust! {except for HD seat belt clasps, a new 2 core ratiator, and plastiv master cylinder reservior}.
Would there be any way to discern the manufacture date?

Sound like you have a wonderful rare car there!
Did you put pics up somewhere? I seam to recall a nice Corana down near Wagga?

Hi Steve,the engine No. for the ute EK 57716 S is B326223 and I cant find any EJ tag on the firewall. What does it look like? Graham

That's the highest Engine number and Ute body number I have found so far!
The tag looks like this, but not necessarily in this position.

Wondering if you can help with this dilemma, the only tag left on the fb ute we are currently restoring in our shop reads;
fb 2106 - 2091
Does this make any sense, i dont believe that there are any other tags remaining ( vehicle been dismantled for a very long time)

Nothing else written to tag, this was fastened to the inner guard (drivers side). What would the factory colors on offer in 59 be. This ute started as a dealership vehicle locally.

Update to the supplied info:
Sub frame number: EK5014M
Is there a link to the spreadsheet?
I am wondering about the original engine number of my ute. VicRoads can offer me NO info on the car, even with the rego number, chassis and body numbers.
Rego lable has the following number: B84096
But from what I see on this forum, that number belongs to an FB, not an EK.

I do know that the ute had an engine transplant at one point, but it would seem odd that a farmer would notify of the change -- well, my relatives anyways.
