Its one of my rocket lenses in clear, a chrome bullet with a red lense beneath that on chequre plate background.
Lights up just great n I dig the way the clear lense glows, like radioactive

Get this ~

Pic shows the headlight has now been moved outward to the left 15mm
It also shows the line along the top of the guard is near straight (look along your EK FB to see the angle Holden placed it at .
Also just to make the line flow the area at the back of the guard is smooth now.

Its because the slightest modification, makes the whole job more appealing to the eye. It makes you want to, really look hard when the job done.......
That colour scheme and flash your thinking of doing looks awesome..

Hey anyone notice the dog to the left of the guard pic .
Whenever I weld she will sit and watch , I hazzad a guess that shes attracted to the shhhhh sound , just like the hose , air gun , wipper snipper and mower , they both attack all of them and he will even rip the wipper snipper from my hands or pull the mower off me (love a dog with character)
But my prob is if you look closely at the reflection colour in her eyes they are green and blue and she seems to be losing a little sight in her right eye , occasionally she will bump the bike when Im running her.

Now this guy

Image
Has decided he wants to watch aswell , I hadnt noticed him watching be he likes the hiss sound and he had bloodshot eyes yestersday arvo .

I can shut the door but heat becomes an issue ...... anyone have a similar prob ?

I have been told that dogs are not effected by "welding flash" like we are. The sight problem is more than likely associated with something else (old age etc....). My dogs have always watched and never had a problem. If you have ever had "welding flash" (which most of us have!) then it would be expected that if the dogs suffered from welding flash then they would be constantly rubbing there eyes because it is exactly like having sand in your eyes (I had it a few times during my apprenticeship   ).

The guard mod is a very good idea and looks great (very fiddly!), will give that "mmmm...something is different but what it is" look.

BTW: That a good looking Dog 8) 8)

Yep you dog will go blind if exposed to welding flash like any animal with eyes.
Remember kiddys, dont stare at the pretty light.

Cheers Scotty.

I'd like to know how they can work that out or even try it on a dog, its not as though they can tell you, unless its Scooby Doo.

That guy would walk past the mower and take the toilet paper B I G difference :)

Heres todays instalments 8) Great to have some time again - not to be mistaken for thyme .

And over to the B side , I removed the scuttle panel to shorten the step beccause it had some damage so i also repaired that and filled the ariel hole in both the body and scuttle.
Weldid it up and flapped it off .

Then I cut the guard to spread the headlight , got it tacked up and cut off the lip to be replaced with the wider version .

:D No worries Mate as soon as i saw it i thought
of you straight away :)
it looks like the same model humber
as in your photo even the same color the whole car
is not much good its rusting into the ground the doors are
are already off the car and are sitting inside it and the bottoms
are stuffed.
i can get some photo's if you like will be going back
there in the next week or so i forgot the camera
today mainly because he doesnt usally let you go down the back
but today he let me and one of his workers go down and look for
what i needed
any way if there what your after i could get them for you
and cut out the top section that you need and get them to
you some how .

Actually Ive gone out the back and had a real close look at whats involved and it will mean reshaping the front door to have no recess .
Which is cool ,I dont mind the extra work to do it - was going to lower this area anyway , but Im realy unsure if this will reflect too much chevy and not enough Holden .

Please vote now :)

I think I can make it work in a subtle way by lessoning the angle but , size , length , profile and asthetics are all up in the air , kinda gotta get pieces like this in front of the project to suss it out ...

I guess get a price and we can go from there.

Thanks again Jay 8)
