160 amp alternator finally arrived from the states. It has a slightly different rear configuration including being slightly smaller which means it has more clearance. Now i need to sort a radiator, i have the one from the statesman but the bottom hose outlet and trans line pipes are placed out where the inner guards are so will require me to cut the panels to route the hoses and pipes.ImageImage

Desert Cool radiator being made to fit 600x450 with twin 12" thermo fans. That should keep things cool

Finished the night of by welding in the new fire wall and fitting and then also welding the drivers side lower footwell.Image

1.2mm zincseal, could possibly go thinner though but then you get the chance of more distortion.

Well a bit more done tonight, collapsible steering column bracket fabricated and mounted installed. Now need to holesaw a hole into the floor and fabricate up a floor mount.ImageImage

Hi Mr Taz,

You are doing an awesome job and progressing quickly.

Just remember your steering wheel must collapse toward the firewall, slide off the tabs toward the engine.

Mate you certainly have the fabrication skills well done.

Really nice build love the pictures. I am about to start doing the same build, just waiting for my motor to arrive from the states. I might go a rodtech front end
