it all depends on the engineer apparently :? i'de heard VIC was worse than NSW but looking at the ute in the link and that the builders say that it will be legally regoed you just have to find the right engineer and work with him
i know in NSW you could only put a naturally asspirated 4.2 into an LC/LJ torana but since i know of one that has had an engineer sighn off on an LS1 with a turbo on it and another that the engineer is happy with him fitting a 5 litre, what the RTA/RMS put out is only a guideline you just have to find an engineer that is willing to push boundaries

Maybe I should start hanging round with adults you reckon?
Haha nah mate as long as the kids appreciate the ol girl, alls cool.
With that little hole in the tank, would one of those liquid tank sealer kits fix that??? I know my old man has used them on all his old bikes but they're pretty deer, especially coating a car tank. Just a thought

Had any other teething probs??

Hung around adults yesterday at Coffee in the Hills, was an awesome morning and my car got a fair bit of attention. :D

Pulled the tank out and sent it back to the tank company that modified it, they fixed it up and it's good now.
No other major teething problems so far.
Although I've found the rear main seal is leaking so contemplating pulling the engine and give it a freshen up and maybe some work to heads and cam. It's only tuned at the moment so it will only go to half throttle maximum so it's no rocket ship but it goes okay. (Still faster than a grey) :shh:

Hey scoob
Have you had any trouble with your extractors bubbling the paint in your engine bay
I ran the new came in on the Fb and blistered the paint even with the headers heat wrapped
Did you get yours ceramic coated and how close do your pipes run to the paint

Yeah mate mine have bubbled the paint, have got a heat shield on the inner guard now.
I haven't had them ceramic coated yet but plan on doing it when I pull the motor to do the rear seal.
I'll get a photo and post it up for you.
