Mine was a standard, Personally the chrome surround is a bit 'normal' for my liking...Ideally frenching the taillight housing onto the fins would be best, but as you can't weld them to each other....

Could always use the housing as a mold for a steel version..

Wonder how diecast goes when you try and form metal around it with an oxy ;)

Diecast is very brittle. Make a resin mould then you could........

Make a fiberglass tail light assembly and blend it into the rear of the car with fiberglass sheeting and resin. Wouldnt crack or flex, look nice and smooth and look to be one peice with rear of car.

8) Sounds good in theory, but I've never done it, so cant say if it would work..

But throwing it out there for ya.

I am spinning out about that Vauxhall pic. My wifes Mark 2 zephyr I put that exact clam exhaust extension on. That a pretty good looking car. Vauxhalls in Australia were sold by Holden so they shared those ultra cool colours our FB EK's were painted. If you are ever driving into Warwick QLD just past the Caltex servo a guy has a pile of them all in a row some of them two tone it spins you out seeing those fab colours together. 8) 8)

Would these fit into a FB/EK?
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/CHEV-1956-LED-CL ... dZViewItem

Or 1959 Cadillac lights.... Would 59 caddy blinkers fit the front of out cars?

Anything "could" fit but the 567 chev has a wider fin section ,about 1 - 2 inches.
Id like the rear of any one of these to build another lounge if you have one ?
